About The Petal Farm
The Petal Farm is a family-run flower farm located in the heart of Nova Scotia’s beautiful Annapolis Valley.
With a deep respect for the land and a love for all things that grow, we’re proud to cultivate over 75 varieties of blooms using sustainable, organic practices. Whether you’re visiting to pick your own bouquet, attend a workshop, or simply enjoy the beauty of the garden, you’ll feel the care, intention, and joy behind everything we do.
A Passion for Dirt
At The Petal Farm, we believe everything starts with the soil. It’s the foundation of successful farming, healthy soil makes for healthy blooms, and when you take the time to nurture it, gardening becomes a whole lot easier (and more fun).
We love getting our hands dirty. Whether we’re deadheading, waging war on weeds, or chatting with the bees, spending time in the garden is our favourite form of therapy!
Since purchasing the land in 2022, we’ve poured our hearts into turning it into what you see today.
We’re a husband-and-wife team: one of us brings the creativity, planting, and floral passion (that’s the wife!), and the other keeps everything running smoothly with building, planning, and maintenance (that’s the husband!).
Together, we’ve grown The Petal Farm from the ground up, literally!

Growing our Farm
At The Petal Farm, we’re committed to creating a biodiverse, sustainable space where every choice supports the health of the land. Last spring, we introduced bees to the farm, and they’ve quickly become some of our most important team members! Their pollination has boosted the growth of our blooms and helped extend our season.
Looking ahead, we plan to introduce small livestock and chickens to enrich the ecosystem, naturally fertilize the soil, and support our mission of regenerative farming.
The HIVE Social
Our newest and most exciting addition is The HIVE, our on-site workshop and coffee bar. It’s a cozy, creative space where guests can gather, celebrate, relax, and get inspired.
The HIVE also serves as our farm boutique, featuring handmade goods, farm-fresh products, and locally crafted items from around the Valley.
